Icelandic Combat Theatre (ICT) is the data controller responsible for this website. We are based in Reykjavík, Iceland and operate as an EEA-based organisation, meaning the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to all personal data we process.
Data We Collect
We only collect personal data that you actively provide to us. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting technology.

When you submit a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. This is processed by Formsubmit.co and used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is processed by Brevo and used only to send you updates about ICT events and news. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email.
Analytics
We use SimpleAnalytics, which collects no personal data and sets no cookies. Only anonymised, aggregate traffic data is processed.
Legal Basis for Processing
- Contact form — Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): responding to messages you have sent us.
- Newsletter — Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): you have actively opted in. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Analytics — Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): understanding aggregate site usage. No personal data is involved.

- Formsubmit.co — Processes contact form submissions.
- Brevo — Manages our newsletter mailing list and sends email campaigns. Headquartered in France, EU.
- SimpleAnalytics — Provides cookieless, privacy-first analytics. No personal data is collected or stored.
- statichost.eu — Hosts this website. Standard server logs may be retained by the hosting provider per their own policies.
Data Retention
- Contact form messages — Retained only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry, then deleted.
- Newsletter subscriptions — Retained until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data — SimpleAnalytics retains only anonymised, aggregate data.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@icelandiccombattheatre.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
